Moments & Musings of an Engineers Without

WHO AM I
I think I'm best described by a quote I once read: "They should tell you when you are born: have a suitcase heart, be ready to travel." - Gabrielle Zevin
Here's a little more about myself. My name is Alexis, I grew up in a small town in northern Canada. I have lived in Calgary 10 years working in the petroleum industry holding environmental positions. I'm now on a secondment with EWB on an amazing opportunity to Ghana! I have traveled many a continent, but never to Africa.
EWB calls themselves "social change incubator" for people, ventures and ideas creating systematic change to end poverty in Africa. For more information go to www.ewb.ca.
I will be working on a new venture, Young Fellows Program (YFP) in Ghana. The YFP's mission is to design a program that will deliver a sustainable, effective and impactful training program to develop young Technical Assistance Providers (TAP). The result is to have fellows that will be able to provide Technical Assistane (TA) or take an entry level management position in agribusinesses.
